Celebrate The American Farmer At The 2026 Harvest Hoedown!

It’s time to party for a cause! Join us Friday, August 28th, from 5-8 p.m. (gates open at 4:30) at the Lewis Educational Agricultural Farm (The LEAF) for our 4th annual Harvest Hoedown. This year we're throwing an all-American bash to celebrate the USA's 250th birthday and tip our hats to the hardworking American farmer.

This year, we’re throwing an all-American bash to celebrate the USA’s 250th birthday and tip our hats to the hardworking American Farmer. The Lewis family has been sowing seeds in Southington, Connecticut, for over 240 years, and now it’s time to party for a cause! Every dollar raised helps keep the educational wheels turning at the LEAF all year long. Don’t forget, this shindig is hosted by a 501-C3 Non-Profit, so join us for a night of fun that truly matters!

🎸 Live music from Nashville's Matt Rossi Band — original tunes and classic southern country-rock covers, plus line dancing with a seasoned instructor
🍖 A farm-to-table feast: mouthwatering barbecue from Smokin' with Chris featuring fresh veggies grown right at the LEAF, with dessert by Paul Gregory's
🍷 Craft beer and wine from Worldwide Wine and Spirits
🌶️ The Second Annual Salsa Showdown — taste entries from local restaurants and vote for your favorites
